F.A.Q.:
Frequently Asked Questions
After receiving some e-mail regarding this site, I have decided to
put up this little section to answer some common concerns and/or queries.
If you wish to ask a question, go here.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SUPER SOAKER?
My personal favourite for most water fights is the CPS 1500.
My favourite combination is the CPS 1500 with the CPS 2000 slung over my
shoulder for the added firepower when the going gets wet. The CPS 1000
with the CPS 2000 slung over my shoulder is also a combination I like
using since the CPS 1000 does not appear to intimidating and most don't
notice the CPS 2000 behind my back until it's too late.
I also like using the SC 500 for smaller engagements, as a back-up
or for one-on-one duels. The SC 500 can be loaded very quickly from its
Charger stand, is the smallest CPS-based water weapon so far and can be
easily filled even without the Charger stand.
HOW OFTEN ARE NEW POSTINGS PUT UP?
I try to put up a posting at least once a week. (If I don't...
oh well.) My timeline actually shows a little more than just once a week
in the month of May, but as the site grows, postings will likely slow down
since there will be less to say that hasn't already been covered.
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR HELP ON YOUR WEBSITE?
This site is a personal site paid for by me. I am currently
not looking for help in its design, but feel free to comment, criticize
or give updated information on items I have or do not own.
WHAT ABOUT SPEED LOADERS
OR OTHER WATER GUNS?
Money is the main thing between me and buying every water weapon
out there and trying it out. I have considered purchasing a Speed Loader
or two, but have not been that impressed by how they look or their loading
device. I am also not to thrilled about the fact that they cannot be filled
from normal water sources.
As for other water guns, I have a couple I haven't mentioned since
they are no longer available and really have no place in current water
wars except perhaps as a joke.
WHERE CAN YOU BUY SUPER SOAKERS(tm) ON-LINE?
Though this site is not affiliated with any particular
on-line source for Super Soakers(tm), I do believe that they can be found
at www.etoys.com and some other places
as well.
WHY ISN'T WEIGHT POSTED
FOR THE WATER WEAPONRY?
I still do not have a scale accurate and large enough to weigh
the weaponry properly. As soon as I can locate such a device, I'll
post weights.
HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY WEAR ULTRA-HEAVY COMBO II?
(See Heavy Combo)
For those who do not know, Ultra-Heavy Combo II suggests using
a CPS 3000 with a SC Power Pak along with an XP 110/SC 600/CPS 1000 as a
back-up weapon. Most wonder how one wears two backpacks. It is not as bad
as it seems. First, fill the CPS 3000 backpack with the gun not attached
and valve closed and put it on one's back, securing all the straps. Next,
put on the SC Power Pak while empty (since it's lighter that way), but
with the backpack in front. The hose will still allow one to use the SC's
gun in either hand. Fill the SC Power Pak at the SC-loader. Then, hook
up the CPS 3000 gun attachment to the backpack hose and open the valve.
Finally, grab the XP 110/SC 600/CPS 1000. If one is using an XP 110 or SC
600, one will also need a sort of shoulder bag to carry it. The CPS 1000
can be easily slung over the other shoulder. The SC Power Pak gun can be
rested on the shoulder bag/CPS 1000 when not in use. The CPS 3000 should
be the primary weapon used with the SC Power Pak used to defend oneself
only when repumping up the CPS 3000 firing chamber. The XP 110/SC 600/CPS
1000 is only there just in case one does manage to drain the CPS 3000.
Running is not really an option when wearing all this plastic so it is
still safer to travel with an ally. However, with two backpacks on, one's
torso is rather well shielded from any incoming water.
ARE YOU OBSESSED WITH WATER GUNS?
Yes. And by the fact that you're still reading this, you probably
are, too!
