Tech Research : Target Design

NOTE.: The following design was sent to me via email from an extreme SuperSoaker fan. This design has not been tested here, yet, at iSoaker.com but looks feasible enough making it worthy of a posting.

TOOLS NEEDED

  • a plastic lid (I took a lid off a potato chips tin)
  • a wooden board (40 x 14 cm)
  • a hinge
  • some wood-screws
  • good/reliable waterproof glue
  • paint (e.g. blue and yellow)
  • clear laquer spray

First, attach the hinge to the board at one of the long edges. Use the screws to fasten the hinge to the board. Take the lid and paint it like a target (I painted it blue with a yellow dot in the middle). Let it dry a few days before spraying it with the clear laquer to protect the paint. After letting it dry a few more days, attach the lid at the other end of the hinge with the glue. Use as much glue as needed to fix it firmly.

Afterwards, spray everthing with the laquer and let it dry. Thatīs it.
