Description:
The SC500 is the smallest CPS-based water weapon. As with all SC-capable
blasters, it comes with its QFD for quick-filling. Its reservoir also
has a screw cap for normal tap-filling. This blaster holds a decent amount
of water for its size. Its aperture is about equal to the XP-class of
weapons while the separate pressure chamber allows for refills while pressurized.
The SC500's compact nature makes this weapon perfect for running with.
It is almost small enough to hide in one's jacket, but does not have a
strap of its own.
The weapon nevertheless has a good feel to it and would put up a good
fight in any small to medium skirmish. It is, however, not recommendable
to go against any blaster with a 10x-rated nozzle or higher with only
the SC500.
Pros:
Small, light, easy to carry. Despite its size, it packs decent power.
It also does not take too much effort to pump up the firing chamber.
Cons:
As with most of the SC line, one can quickly empty the tank if being a
little overzealous with the trigger. One thing to be careful of is the
pumping mechanism which extends from the front of the blaster. This pump,
though it appears to be fairly sturdy, should not be left extended for
longer periods of time to reduce the chance of falling on it and breaking
it, leaving the blaster useless.
