Buy Now: Super Soaker XP 270 Description:
The XP270 makes a very good light assault rifle. It holds more water than
its brother, the XP70 and its pressure chamber holds a good amount of
pressurized water. Its water reservoir is transparent so that water reserves
can be easily monitored. The reservoir comes with a tethered cap to help
prevent the cap's loss. Pumping is quick and easy, giving this XP-class
weapon a good punch. However, the pump handle feels a little flimsy so
some care should be taken while pumping. Its size and balance are nice,
allowing one to hold one's ground even against the lower CPS-class weapons.
Pros: Nice size, light, easy to carry. Despite its size, it packs respectable power. It also does not take too much effort to pump up the pressure chamber. The tank provides a respectable amount of water considering its rate of fire. Easy to fill with a nice, tethered cap and transparent water reservoir. The shape of the reservoir allows virtually all water to be used. Cons: This is a rather small weapon compared to the others out there. The XP-class nozzles are outclassed by all of the CPS-line of weapons.

Reviews: This
is one of my favorite line of blasters. I loved the XPs as I was growing
up (ever since...umm...I was 7 years old) and this is just better than
my other XPs. The XP270 is an awesome assault blaster which can be used
in just about any scrimage...but watch out for CPSs with 10x nozzles...
It has an ok nozzle. I noticed that the nozzle is a big larger than the
XP240's. (Posted on 2001/05/24) Review By ShadowstrikePrime (Edited by iSoaker.com) The XP-270 is an excellent weapon. It is useful as a sidearm in large battles and great as a main weapon in smaller ones. If you're fighting a high-end CPS-class or a (Primus, forbid) Monster with this blaster, to put it simply, you're in deep trouble. This weapon holds 25% more water than its predacessor, the XP 70. This blaster is versatile and it's gotten me out of more than a few tight situations. Its range is decent for its size. Against low- end CPS weapons (ie: CPS1000 or CPS1500), it can hold it's own for a very short time if you can manuver quickly enough. I highly recommend this weapon as a heavy Side-arm.
