Description: The CPS 1000 was once the smallest,
lightest weapon found in the CPS line of weapons. Though classified as
Super Chargers(tm), the SC 500 and SC 600 are also based on CPS technology.
However, the CPS 1000, despite being the same size as an XP 110, outclasses
any of the XP or SC-class weapons (except perhaps the larger XXPs). The
nozzle is rated at 5x (i.e. 5x the punch of an XP's nozzle). Because of
this, one can use this weapon to soak up your foes rather quickly. However,
the main problem is that firing that amount of water each time can quickly
drain your tank, leaving you defenseless if you squander your ammo too
quickly.
All in all, the CPS 1000 makes a great light field gun, perfect for
small to medium enemy engagements as well as a "heavier" sort
of backup weapon if using one of the larger CPS models.
Pros: Small, light, easy to carry especially
thanks to its shoulder strap. Despite its size, it packs good power and
stream size. It also does not take too much effort to pump up the firing
chamber.
Cons: As with most of the CPS line, one can
quickly empty the tank if being a little overzealous with the trigger.
One thing to be careful of is the pumping mechanism which extends from
the front of the gun. This pump, though it appears to be fairly sturdy,
should not be left extended for longer periods of time to reduce the chance
of falling on it and breaking it, leaving the gun useless.
