I’ve been looking for this water gun I had as a kid in the 90s. Was different because it didn’t shoot a stream but rather a blast, like a ball of water. It was a single-shot gun that had a lever style cocking mechanism. I guess it was spring or elastic because when the lever was being pulled back you could hear it clicking like a gear turning and holding the pressure. I’ve looked through all of the years/pictures but can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Thank you!
When you mention the phrase, “ball of water”, the Water Ball series comes to mind, but those didn’t come out until the early 2000. Larami Corp had some water guns that were spring-based (see: Pre-Super Soaker History known as Power Chargers, but I believe those shot short stream bursts, not blasts/balls of water. In one of the pictures on that page, there is a “Double Shot Rifle” water gun that may have produced more of a blast, but I’ve never seen one in action.
