This battle was a minor difficulty compared to most of our battles. The battle was to take place at 1:30pm. I was up since 9:00am loading supplies for the fight. My team was assembled and we practiced aiming and assaulting. We had assembled big caches of weapons, including cheap water pistols. We had assembled a base out in the park and covered it with tarps and had refilling supplies in it. Continue reading The Battle at Torkarsk

This battle was sparked inadvertently by my teammate, Snake. Snake had taunted how weak they were because we had supremacy for four years. They all quickly declared war on us at the wrong time. All the rest of my team was at camp, so it just was me and Snake vs 10 angry enemy. Continue reading The Battle of Natoma

Night Fight

By: Mitchell

(Based on a true story)

I was at Nick’s house with Aaron and Ricky when we decided to have a water war. I had to equip all but Aaron and the teams were an even 2-to-2. I had the only CPS and it was a Splashzooka. The other person on my team was Nick who was equipped with a MaxD-5000. The other team however consisted of Aaron and Ricky: Aaron had his XP310 and Ricky had all the waterballoons. Independance Day

By: Rich

It was a hot summer day on July 4th… Yes, our Independence Day. Me <Rich> was at my friend Matt’s house for a BBQ. His little sister’s birthday was yesterday so there was a party. My family and his grandparents were there. Me, Matt, and his dad had just filled 200 water balloons without his sisters knowledge. Continue reading Independance Day

The French and the Germans

By: Frances H.

These are just 2 main actions which took place during this water battle. First thing to point out is that none of the people who played in this battle are really french or german and the teams weren’t picked out for any reasons of racism. Second is that both actions happened around my house which is built on a hill so there are 2 ground floors. OK, now the teams.

French:

Me(Martin): CPS1200 and a shield
Matthew: SC600
Lionel: SC600 (broken pump though, obliged to use QFD)

German:

Scott: xp240
Giacomo: xp310
Adam: CPS1200 (argh, I thought he would have used one of the weaker ones) Continue reading The French and the Germans

War Story

By: ctownsoaker

Every year, on the 4th of July, our neighborhood gets together and has a huge water fight. There are usually anywhere from 2-5 teams willing to play. The teams can range in size anywhere from 3-15. My team, with three people, has won the last four years because of our better tactics and firepower. WE usually win easily within a period of 30 minutes to an hour. But my story is about what happened last year. Last year was different because two teams combined to give us a huge battle. Continue reading War Story

Vermin War 8: Heavy Fighting Heavy Soakage

By: Ben H.

I clinched my CPS2100 closer to my shoulder and swept it to my left eying the foliage to my left along the path. Even though it was a very cool day of only 65 degrees, I had already begun to sweat, or maybe it was just the humidity. It had rained for almost a whole week intermittently prior to today and the terrain was saturated. Listening for enemy movements, I led my squad along the path towards Mueller Drive. We had left two grunts back at base with a Max-D Secret Strike and a modified CPS1-3-5 to guard the 100 or so waterballoons stored there. My squad hugged the right flank of the battlefield. We were to manuever through the lowlands and then cross the road, head up hill through my yard, and attack the enemies critical right flank which held the impenetrable Fort Salamandastron, originally constructed by my own team.
